Mission
We take our responsibilities very seriously and strive to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all our pets. That’s why we ensure our puppies are health tested and raised in family-friendly homes.
Richie Gutierrez
Hello! My name is Richie but some of you may know me as Mr. G, a 4th-grade student teacher at Quaker Ridge. I was born and raised in Scarsdale and it is my dream to continue making Scarsdale my home. I have always had Golden Retrievers and currently have a 10-year-old Golden named Buddy. Before meeting Kateland, I never realized the intense care and time that goes into raising puppies. It is such an amazing process to watch them grow into fluffy and playful pups. Although I will miss them, I am so excited to help them find their forever homes.
Kateland Keene
Hello! My name is Kateland and I am a student planning to obtain my Master's in Mental Health and Counseling. I grew up on a farm in rural Ohio and learned how to raise animals from a young age. After high school, I moved to Baltimore where I studied at Johns Hopkins University. I met Richie during my time in college and fell in love with Scarsdale when I came to visit. After my graduation from JHU in the Spring of 2022 I plan on moving to the Scarsdale area with Richie to pursue my Master's. Having many doodles and poos in my family, it is my dream to build a community of Goldendoodles in the Westchester area. While I love them all dearly, I am so excited to watch these pups grow and flourish in their new homes.
Family Raised - Always
In order to ensure our puppies are ready to transition into their new homes, we believe it is extremely important for them to be raised in family-friendly homes with young children and other animals. Because of this, our puppies are raised with my family and young siblings in Ohio until they are seven weeks old. In this household, they are raised with three young children, three dogs (including mom), and a cat. By exposing the puppies at a young age to these environments, we can ensure the puppies are comfortable around children, men, and other animals. Living in a family-friendly home, these puppies get extra playtime, attention, and care. As the puppies grow, I visit my family frequently to check on them, take photos, and take them to the vet. At seven weeks old, the puppies and mom move to Scarsdale and are ready for their new homes at eight weeks.
